Health Educator
Duties and Resp9onsibilities: The Seven Areas of Responsibility contain a comprehensive set of Competencies and Sub-competencies defining the role of the health education specialist. These Responsibilities were verified through the 2010 Health Educator Job Analysis 2011. The Sub-competencies shaded are advanced-level only and will not be included in the entry-level, CHES examination. However the advanced-level Sub-competences will be included in the October 2011 MCHES examination.

Salary: 41,830
Education: Most health educator jobs require a bachelor’s degree at minimum and some employers may prefer candidates who also are Certified Health Education Specialists, the BLS reports. Undergraduate fields of study include health promotion or health education, and often include an internship.
In some cases, health educators may require a master’s degree, particularly for employment with state or federal public health agencies.
In order to be effective, health educators must be able to evaluate information and data, build rapport with a diverse group of people and express themselves clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Professional development and continuing education opportunities are available through organizations such as the , the American Association for Health Education and the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing.

Reflection: I would like to be a health because you teach kids of how to take care of your body and help them a lot in their future and they get a good payment of money.
